Autumn
We completed a short science topic about Autumn just before we broke for half term. The children collected leaves, conkers and acorns and investigated them using magnifying glasses and their senses. We also looked at a variety of pumpkins and using our senses again smelt them, compared their sizes and weight and collected their seeds. We melted wax crayons over one pumpkin to decorate it. The children created autumn colours by mixing paint and printed their own mini pumpkins which they put googly eyes on.
