Treat tasting - sweet vocabulary
Monday 16th - Friday 20th January
The week started with a fantastically artistic lesson, creating art in the style of Kandinsky and Pollock. The children showed off their creativity and thoroughly enjoyed doing both activities!
Monday 9th - Friday 13th January
The children enjoyed adding money and finding different ways to create amounts. Why don't you have a go at home or in a shop? Can you buy something small and pay for it using the correct change?
Wednesday 4th - Friday 6th January
We thoroughly enjoyed our Art Day on Thursday this week. Our aim was to create leaf art using different mediums. We printed using paint, drew using special pencils, used felt tips to create a pointillism piece of art and used crayons to make leaf rubbings. We learnt about 4 different artists that use each type of art; Julianna Kunstler (observational drawing), Max Ernst (rubbing), Henri Matisse (printing) and Georges Seurat (pointillism).
