How to get involved with the PTFA
All parents, carers and guardians are automatically members of ‘Friends of Kempsey Primary School - PTFA’ when their children join our school.
There are lots of ways you can help and support your child through the PTFA. Sharing any ideas for fundraising events or other initiatives is one way. We are always on the lookout for fresh ideas.
Offering us your skills, whether cake baking, face-painting, publishing, advertising, printing, first aid or anything else you think we could use. Or by sharing any useful contacts / links you may have that could be useful to us. We are always looking for new people to help and inspire us.
Helping at our events or at other times during the year is so valuable - it really is a case of 'many hands make light work'. It doesn't matter if you can't help on a regular basis, responding to our requests for cakes, raffle prizes, second hand items is a big help.
Even if you can't come into school, there are always little jobs that can be done from home if you have half an hour to spare e.g. wrapping gifts or preparing raffle tickets. We really couldn't achieve what we do without the unseen 'army of help' that exists behind the scenes.
You can of course, volunteer to be a committee member and have a more hands on role with decision making and planning events. We are always on the lookout for new parents & carers to join us.
