Four Seasons in One Day Autumn 2
What a busy few weeks we have had with this topic! We listened to 'The Four Seasons' by Vivaldi and identified differences between them in the music. As our focus was on 'Autumn' we collected a variety of Autumn items such as conkers, acorns, pine cones, leaves and pumpkins and used them for counting, sorting, measuring and weighing. We also sketched them using a variety of leads in sketching tools.
We applied our phonics by identifying letters on leaves, putting them in alphabetical order and making words with them. Our writing has really improved already from when we first started school.
It has been a very busy few weeks and everyone has earned a well deserved rest over half term!
