English 07.05.2021 - Lighthouse narrative
For the next two weeks we are using a short video called The Lighthouse as our stimulus in English. Today we did some ‘hot seating’ to create a character profile of the Lighthouse Keeper.
The children were given a range of images depicting different materials and reactions. They were tasked with sorting the images into groups that they defined themselves, and then explaining / justifying their reasoning for these groups. We discussed reversible and irreversible reactions and the properties of different materials.
