Languages day at Hanley Castle High School
A note from Madame Lilly
On 25 June, a group of Year 3 & 4 children attended a Languages Festival hosted by the MFL department at Hanley Castle High School. During a wonderfully varied day we got to take part in fun activities in Italian, Portuguese and even Chinese! The children behaved impeccably throughout and rounded off the day with an excellent performance of the song we have been learning in French lessons: Un éléphant qui se balançait. If you have a child in Year 3 or 4, ask them to sing it to you!
We would like to say a big thank you to Madame Lilly for taking the children to the event and to the children who were clearly a credit to the school.
