English Activity - Thursday 21.05.2020
Today in English, you are going to write a first draft of your fable, using your plan from yesterday to help you.
Remember to keep thinking carefully about the moral of your story, you want the people reading your story to learn a lesson by reading it. Tomorrow, we will be up-levelling our stories to make them even better.
Below is an outline of how you could set your story out, adding illustrations for each part of your story. Remember to keep it short too!

English Activity - Tuesday 19.05.2020
This week, we are going to be writing fables. Fables usually have a moral, this is a teaching, for example, the moral of 'The Tortoise and the Hare' is that slow and steady wins the race. Below is a fable called 'The Lion and the Mouse'. Read it through and answer the questions about it. When you've finished, check your answers. There are two levels of challenge for this (you only need to pick one). Challenge 2 is a little bit trickier than challenge 1.
Once you have finished this, there is also a link to a set of Aesop's Fables. Listen to 2 or 3 and see if you can figure out what the moral of each fable is.

If you finish quickly (or if you've already finished), I have also attached a BBC Bitesize lesson on similes and metaphors which might help with this week's task!
