Welcome to the website for Kempsey Primary School. We hope this website will give you an insight into the life of our school and illustrate all that makes Kempsey Primary special to those who teach, work and learn here. If you are a parent considering Kempsey Primary for your child, please do get in touch and visit us in person.
At Kempsey Primary School, our aim is to provide a broad and stimulating curriculum, full of opportunities to excite and motivate our learners. We complement this with a rich menu of extra-curricular activities to encourage our children to carry on enjoying learning beyond the school day. We foster relationships built on mutual respect and empathy for each other. We encourage our pupils to talk to each other and to us about their concerns, anxieties, successes and dreams.
We believe that children learn best when both home and school work positively together. We encourage parents to come in and discuss openly and honestly the achievements, successes, problems and difficulties of their children and to find out more about how they can help their children progress. We are confident that, when home and school work well together, it will benefit all of the children in our care.
Ours is a caring school where children are warmly received and encouraged throughout their time with us to aspire to do their best, to fulfil their potential and to engage with all the opportunities the school has to offer. Just as we want our pupils to aspire to be the best they can be, so, too, do we as a school want to be the best school we can possibly be. We are always eager to hear the thoughts, comments, questions and ideas of our pupils, parents and the local community. Please do get in touch at any time.
I am exceptionally proud to be Head Teacher at Kempsey Primary School and I am very proud of the pupils and all that they do and achieve. I am sure, as you look round this website, you will understand and share that pride.
